Dear coffee lover!
Whether you use a classic filter holder, electric filter, or fancy V60/Chemex, blooming makes your coffee purer and more balanced. You don't need barista skills—this quick step prevents sour or bitter flavors and brings out the best flavors from our Falco beans.
What is a Bloom?
Bloom = first splash of hot water over dry coffee.
Slowly pour 2–3 times the coffee weight (e.g., 15 g coffee → 30–45 ml water) in circles.
Works with: classic filter, French press, V60, Chemex, or Kalita—for all manual brewing methods!

What's happening?
- CO² escapes → bubbles form and 'bloom' (hence bloom).
- Uniform moistening → prevents channeling (water taking uneven paths), further extraction is optimal.
- Better extraction → fuller body, no acidity or bitterness.
How do you do it? (Universal recipe)
